Practical Considerations
on a Horsedrawn
Caravan Holiday

Arrival

Caravans are generally occupied between 4pm and 6pm on the day of arrival. At this point it is advisable to visit the local shops and stock up with at least two day's food and provisions.

You are required to spend the first and the last night of your horse drawn caravan tour at our base in Belcarra.

Wardrobe space in the caravan is limited so you are advised to dress practically. Boots, sneakers, casual gear and light rainwear are indicated. Bring a book to read and games for the children! And remember there are no Banks or ATM's on your route

Departure

On the day of departure, caravans must be vacated at about 10am. The interval before the arrival of new guests is needed to replenish gas bottles, and to check and re-equip the caravan.

Special Requirements

Please notify us at time of booking if your party has special requirements. We extend a special invitation to extended families and special interest groups forming their very own 'wagon train' and we do our best to cater for the needs of such groups.
